Xbox 360 core does not connect to internet?
I have recenly bought an xbox 360 core (as inevitably my premium got the three red lights). i put my hard drive onto the core and everything works as it should do, however, i have no connectin to the internet. when i do the test to see what the problem is, it says "xbox live". my brothers works absolutely fine.
i have the exact same set up as i did with my previous 360, so why does my xbox live fail when my brothers works?
any ideas?? (i have tried reconnecting plugs, swapping with my brother etc etc, but it seems it's
the actual 360 - how do i resolve?)

No harddrive or you have to connect your new internet server to your xbox though the settings and open the ports for both sides as well one time you have done that see what happens if not then maybe sure xbox is up beause there been working on the after chrimas update and might be down
