Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. i get this error message when i try to open anything
'windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. you may not have appropriate permissions to access the item'.
this comes up on every file. the only way i can access the file is by typing the file name in task manager.
i am the only administrator and i could access all files yesterday. what has happened?
shall i restore my pc to yesterday or do i have to do a system recovery. i don't want to do the last option though!

I guess you have
no option but to restore back to yesterday's date.
a friend of mine had the same problem and they solved it that way.
