Copying and pasting some couple of paragraphs of text and one graphic from the web page to each single word document. when i reach document 7 or document 8, word freezes with the message: "you're working without a word work file and memory is full. save your work". this is then followed by another message: "saving the autoreco file is postponed for document 7". have already done a lot of research on the internet and at the microsoft site but there does not seem to be a solution to this problem. one time word freezes, i am able to save one document in the rtf format because the document format is greyed out and it is not possible to copy and paste the info in the document into another package (most lbar icons are also greyed out). the other documents cannot be saved at all and i lose the info in them. this problem only affects word 2003, rarely had such issues with word xp (2002). i have already upgraded my word 2003 with sp3. any help would be appreciated.

I have word 2002 and as you said, i have n't had any such problem. maybe the problem is with the amount of information on your clipboard taking up the memory? open the clipboard lbar and keep it clear while working. do you have bloke y applications running, and are actually using all of your ram memory? are you closing each window that you are copying from when you finish with each one? apart from that, than wait to be prompted to try and save your work, why not click the save icon after each pasting? it will take no time at all, and hopefully prevent any future issues. it really is a nice habit to get into.
