Microsoft excel= cant open it. help!?

Recently, etime i try to open an excel document it askes me to insert "the microsoft office 2000 premium disk". i dont have this disk. my office is an illegal copy. i have gone to "openoffice" and other sites to download a different version of excel but because the downloads are too big my computer will disconnect half way through because im on dial up ( i.e not broadband). i did go to a site before where i made a small download of excel ( probably 1-3mb) solved my problem for a month or 2. but i have forgotten the name of the site. does someone know what i can do or where i can download a small excel file to get it to work again? the open office file was 93mb.. is there any download that conains just an excel or similar file for free? yes i have tried opening up excel from the start menu but the same thing happens. it asks me for "the microsoft office 2000 premium disk" sarah.. where can i just the excel equilivent from open office?
Answer
If you don't have to edit the file, try this http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=c8378bf4-996c-4569-b547-75edbd03aaf0&displaylang=en . otherwise open a gmail account and use their free spreadsheet application or try http://zoho.com. being on dial-up only might mess you up.
