In ms excel 2000 - how can i copy and paste many entries in one column to another column and add a prefix?

I have got a few hundred lines in an excel database (i am no database genius you understand but use excel a lot). i need to copy the product codes in one column to another column but add the prefix "eb" to each one. so it looks something like: 3845       eb3845 478fh      eb478fh d9573     ebd9573 kjbt8        ebkjbt8 this is in excel 2000 so if it's in a menu it might be in a different place or not there at all in relation to other versions. but hundreds of times over. the reason i am doing it's to get a database wizard to sort me out an access system for data-acrobatics.. i am late getting the details to him and cannot really ring him at midnight to ask silly questions, lol. thanks in advance :) yahaaa!! i like you all! i cannot bear to pick a best answer, it worked tho :) ok, decided to pick best answer as first one who got it so damn right - thnaks!! gotta wait 4 hours :( will pick best next time, thanks again again :) :)
Answer
If 3845 is in a1, 478fh is in a2, etc. then put the following formula in b1 and copy/paste it down the whole column: =concatenate( "eb", a1)
