Could somebody out there in plain speaking, ,,tell me how to setup outlook express to send and receive mail.. i've spent much time getting nowhere.. all i get is messages about pop and smpt, its doing my head.. i do have a perfectly nice email with hotmail also yahoo, but there's times when outlook express pops up and thats the only way to send a message,,,, what am i doing wrong.. your help would be much appreciated..man y thanks dave

Dave, the other answers have nothing to do with your query, there is a easy solution to your problem. what you wanna do is make yahoo your default email on your computer, this way, when you click on those links, your computer will take you to your yahoo mail, not outlook. you need to make yahoo your default email pc -- internet explorer or firefox from the start pop-up menu in the lower left corner of your desktop, select settings control panel. in the control panel, select internet options. this opens the internet properties window. click the programs tab along the top. click the e-mail pull-down menu, and select yahoo! mail click ok. *are you not seeing yahoo! mail in your list of email programs? download yahoo! messenger. it is easy, it is quick, and it puts yahoo! mail in your email application list. http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/original/settings/settings-10.html thumbs up are always appreciated if i have truly helped you!! ***************************************
