Brand new vista forgotten password: reinstall?
I bought an acer laptop which comes with a built in one-time installtion of vista home. i first played with my new toy after a lengthy visit to the local.....and have no idea of the password. i understand:
1) admin account is by default disabled in vista, so going in through safe mode is not
an option like in xp
2) i am an idiot
i've
have saved no files on my vista, is the easiest thing then just to buy a brand new vista cd install. can i just bung the vista cd in and let the computer do the rest?

Did you not get a system disc when you bought the laptop think the disc maybe called t-rex as i hade to format my sisters computer which had the install program on there
