Uninstalling vista ?
Have recently bought a laptop (loaded with vista) which is to be used to produce audio recordings but my existing hardware (external usb audio pre amp) does not have vista drivers available,
my answer would be to scrub vista and install xp ... i read that vista cannot be uninstalled but if i reformat the hard drive and start from scratch then, in my mind, this should work.
can anyone tell me if i'm making sense with this and what problems i'm going to come up against?

Wait for some time
drivers will soon become available
i would rarely un-install vista and go back to xp
